Professional Experience

Dr. Ferreiro is an adjunct lecturer at the Catholic University of America in systems engineering. He is professor of systems engineering and science and technology management at the Defense Acquisition University at Fort Belvoir VA. Previously he has been a liaison scientists with the Office of Naval Research in London, UK; a risk systems engineer with the US Coast Guard; and a naval architect with the US Navy, which included serving as an exchange naval architect in the French and British navies. He is fluent in Spanish and French, and speaks some Italian.
